Instructions
- Char the Tomatillos: Place the Tomatillos directly on a gas burner or under a broiler until blackened on all sides. Peel off the charred skin and roughly chop.
- Halve the Avocados, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
- Mash the Avocados with a fork to your desired consistency.
- Add the Aromatics (onion, garlic, jalapeño, and charred tomatillos) to the bowl.
- Combine the Citrus Blend (lime juice, orange juice, and yuzu juice) and pour it over the avocado mixture.
- Add the Herbs (cilantro and epazote).
- Season with the Seasoning (flake salt and black pepper).
- Gently stir everything together until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
