Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Caramelize the Yellow Onion: Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and caramelized. Set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce by combining melted butter, honey, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Stir well.
- Slice the King’s Rolls horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms connected.
- Layer the bottom halves of the rolls with caramelized onions, sliced ham, and Swiss cheese.
- Brush the tops of the rolls generously with the Sauce mixture.
- Sprinkle poppy seeds evenly over the sauced rolls.
- Place the assembled sliders in a baking dish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the rolls are golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
