Instructions
  1. Combine the Pudding Base ingredients – Yellow Cornmeal, Water, Whole Milk, Granulated Sugar, Salt, and split Vanilla Bean (including scraped seeds) – in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, for 25-30 minutes, or until the pudding is thick and smooth. Remove the vanilla bean pod.
  4. Remove from heat. To serve, stir 2 tbsp Heavy Cream, 1 tbsp Butter, and 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract into each portion of pudding. Serve warm.
