Instructions
  1. Place Chicken in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45-60 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  2. Remove Chicken from pot and let cool slightly. Shred the Chicken and set aside.
  3. Strain the broth through a fine-mesh sieve, discarding solids. Return broth to the pot.
  4. Add Onion, Carrots, Celery, Parsnip, and Garlic to the broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
  5. Add Wide Egg Noodles and cook according to package directions.
  6. Return shredded Chicken to the pot. Stir in Thyme, Parsley, Bay Leaves, Salt, and Pepper. Heat through.
  7. Remove Bay Leaves before serving.
