Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (246°C).
- To make the Sauce, heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread the Sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
- Sprinkle fresh mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Arrange pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
