Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, marinate the Chicken in Buttermilk, Salt, and Black pepper for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine all Breading ingredients.
  3. Remove chicken pieces from the buttermilk, letting excess drip off. Dredge each piece in the Breading mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.
  4. Heat Vegetable oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Carefully add chicken pieces to the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F/74°C).
  6. While chicken is frying, prepare the Sauce by combining Honey, Hot sauce, and Apple cider vinegar in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until well combined. Remove from heat.
  7. Remove fried chicken from the oil and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
  8. Toss the fried chicken in the Sauce until evenly coated. Serve immediately.
