Instructions
Press the Tofu for at least 1 hour to remove excess water. Cut into 3/4-inch cubes.
In a bowl, whisk together all Marinade ingredients. Add the tofu cubes and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
Place the Rice Flour (Coating) in a shallow dish.
Dredge each marinated tofu cube in the rice flour, ensuring it's fully coated.
Heat 3 tablespoons of avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the coated tofu and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
While the tofu is cooking, prepare the Sauce. In a small saucepan, whisk together all Sauce ingredients. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 3-4 minutes).
Pour the Sauce over the cooked tofu and toss to coat evenly. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to glaze the tofu.
Arrange the tofu bites on a serving platter. Garnish with Black Sesame Seeds and Microgreens before serving.
