A more flavorful version of classic meatballs, featuring a blend of meats and a richer sauce.
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all Meatballs ingredients and mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, sauté Garlic from Sauce ingredients until fragrant. Add Tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.
- Add remaining Sauce ingredients. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Gently add the meatballs to the Sauce. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 75 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot over pasta or with crusty bread.
