Instructions
  1. Prepare the Burger Patties: In a bowl, combine all Burger Patties ingredients. Form into 6 small patties.
  2. Prepare the Caramelized Onions: Melt Butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add Yellow onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes, or until deeply caramelized. Stir in Brown sugar and Balsamic vinegar during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  3. Prepare the Donut Waffle Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together all Donut Waffle Batter ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Cook the Burger Patties: Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  5. Cook the Donut Waffles: Preheat your waffle iron. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the waffle iron for each waffle. Cook according to your waffle iron's instructions.
  6. Assemble the Burgers: Place a burger patty on each donut waffle. Top with Caramelized Onions, a slice of Pepper jack cheese, and Dill pickle chips. Spread Spicy mayo on the top waffle and place on top of the burger.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
