Instructions
Prepare Date Caramel: Combine all Date Caramel ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
Toast Hazelnuts and Pecans: Spread nuts on a baking sheet and toast in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 8-10 minutes, or until fragrant and lightly browned. Let cool and roughly chop.
In a large bowl, combine all Base ingredients and mix well.
Add Date Caramel and all Trail Mix ingredients to the bowl and stir until evenly coated.
Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
Press the trail mix mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the bars to set.
Lift the parchment paper to remove the bars from the dish and cut into 10 equal squares.
