Pancakes
Slightly richer and more flavorful pancakes with the addition of brown butter and vanilla bean. A step up from the classic, but still approachable.

All-Purpose Flour
3 1/2 tsp
Baking Powder
1/2 tsp
Salt

Granulated Sugar

Slightly richer and more flavorful pancakes with the addition of brown butter and vanilla bean. A step up from the classic, but still approachable.
Instructions
- Brown 4 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and fragrant. Let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together all Dry Ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together all Wet Ingredients, including the cooled brown butter and vanilla bean paste.
- Pour the Wet Ingredients into the Dry Ingredients and gently stir until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and bubbles have formed and popped.
- Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
