Instructions
  1. Make Blackberry Jam: Combine Blackberries, Sugar, and Lemon Juice in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thickened (about 15-20 minutes). Let cool.
  2. Make Brown Butter Crumble: Melt Butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook until browned and fragrant. Add Flour, Brown Sugar, and Oats. Cook, stirring constantly, until golden brown and crumbly. Let cool.
  3. Spread Peanut Butter evenly on 4 slices of Bread.
  4. Spread Blackberry Jam evenly on the remaining 4 slices of Bread.
  5. Combine all Custard ingredients in a shallow dish and whisk until well blended.
  6. Dip each Peanut Butter slice into the Custard, ensuring both sides are coated. Repeat with Blackberry Jam slices.
  7. Melt 2 tbsp of Butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  8. Cook the Custard-soaked Bread slices for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Repeat with the remaining Butter and Bread slices.
  10. Sprinkle with Brown Butter Crumble and a pinch of Sea Salt. Serve immediately.
