Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt Butter over medium heat. Whisk in Flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, creating a roux.
- Gradually whisk in Milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in Salt, Pepper, and Nutmeg.
- Layer Potatoes in the prepared baking dish. Pour Sauce over the Potatoes, ensuring they are well coated.
- Sprinkle Cheddar Cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until Potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
