Instructions
  1. Peel, core, and quarter the Quince. Place in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until slightly softened.
  2. Drain the Quince and place them back into the pot. Prepare the Sugar Syrup by combining Sugar, Water, and Lemon juice in a separate saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add the Cinnamon Stick and Cloves to the Sugar Syrup. Pour the syrup over the Quince, ensuring they are fully submerged. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer gently for 1.5-2 hours, or until the Quince are translucent and the syrup has thickened. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool completely in the syrup. Transfer to sterilized jars and seal.
