  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  4. Cut in the cooled Browned Butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Add the Cold Buttermilk and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Gently fold in 1/4 cup of the Aged Cheddar Cheese.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. While the biscuits are baking, prepare the Cheddar Bay Topping by combining all topping ingredients in a small bowl.
  10. Immediately after removing the biscuits from the oven, brush generously with the Cheddar Bay Topping.
