Instructions
  1. Rinse the Rice until the water runs clear.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the Rice, Milk, and Salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 60-65 minutes, stirring frequently, until the rice is very tender and the mixture is thick and creamy.
  3. Stir in the Sugar, Butter, Raisins, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg. Continue to cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved and the butter is melted.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the Vanilla Extract.
  5. Serve warm or chilled.
