  1. In a large bowl, combine Dough ingredients. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  2. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  3. While dough rises, prepare the Filling. Brown Ground beef in a large skillet. Drain off any excess grease.
  4. Add Cabbage and Onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Stir in Garlic powder, Salt, and Pepper.
  6. Punch down the dough and divide into 6 equal pieces.
  7. Roll each piece into a circle about 6 inches in diameter.
  8. Place a generous portion of Filling in the center of each circle.
  9. Bring the edges of the dough up and pinch to seal, forming a pocket.
  10. Place Runzas on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
