Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine Dough ingredients. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  2. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  3. While dough rises, prepare the Filling. Caramelize Onions in a skillet with a little oil over medium-low heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until deeply golden brown.
  4. Brown Ground beef in the same skillet. Drain off any excess grease.
  5. Add Cabbage and Garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Smoked paprika, Salt, and Pepper.
  7. Punch down the dough and divide into 6 equal pieces.
  8. Roll each piece into a circle about 6 inches in diameter.
  9. Place a generous portion of Filling in the center of each circle.
  10. Bring the edges of the dough up and pinch to seal, forming a pocket.
  11. Place Runzas on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
