Slow Cooker Ham And Beans

An enhanced version of the classic ham and beans, featuring smoked paprika for a deeper, richer flavor. A touch of bay leaf adds aromatic complexity.
Instructions
- Place the Beans in a large bowl, cover with water, and soak overnight. Drain and rinse the Beans.
- Combine all Ham, Vegetables, and Beans in a slow cooker.
- Pour the Chicken Broth over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
- Add the Smoked Paprika, Thyme, Bay Leaf, Black Pepper, and Salt to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the Beans are tender.
- Remove the Bay Leaf before serving. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
