1 pound Dried Great Northern Beans-rinsed and sorted

Instructions
  1. Place the Beans in a large bowl, cover with water, and soak overnight. Drain and rinse the Beans.
  2. Combine all Ham, Vegetables, and Beans in a slow cooker.
  3. Pour the Chicken Broth over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
  4. Add the Smoked Paprika, Thyme, Bay Leaf, Black Pepper, and Salt to the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the Beans are tender.
  6. Remove the Bay Leaf before serving. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
