Smoked Sausage Pasta
A more flavorful smoked sausage pasta with the addition of bell peppers and a touch of red pepper flakes for heat.

A more flavorful smoked sausage pasta with the addition of bell peppers and a touch of red pepper flakes for heat.
Instructions
- Cook Pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- While pasta is cooking, heat Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add Onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add Garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
- Add Bell Peppers and cook until slightly softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add Andouille Smoked Sausage to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in Crushed Tomatoes, Dried Basil, Red Pepper Flakes, Salt, and Black Pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add cooked Pasta to the skillet with the sauce and toss to combine.
- Serve immediately, garnished with Parmesan Cheese and Fresh Parsley.
