Prepare Simple Syrup: Combine equal parts sugar and water (1/4 cup each) in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Cool completely.
In a large pitcher, combine all Base ingredients and stir well.
Add all Flavor ingredients, including the cooled Simple Syrup, to the pitcher and stir until fully dissolved.
Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed. Add more lemonade concentrate for sweetness or limeade concentrate for tartness.
Chill for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Serve over ice and garnish with Swedish Fish candies and lime wedges, if desired.
