Instructions
  1. Rinse the Dried Sorrel Flowers under cold water to remove any debris.
  2. In a large pot, combine the Water, Sorrel Flowers, Whole Cloves, Ginger, Ground Cinnamon, Ground Nutmeg, Ground Allspice, and Orange Peel.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the Turbinado Sugar until dissolved.
  5. Let the tea steep for another 20 minutes.
  6. Strain the tea through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the solids.
  7. Stir in Lime Juice, if desired, before serving. Serve warm or chilled.
