A step up from the classic, this dip incorporates caramelized onions and fresh herbs for a more complex flavor profile.
Instructions
- Heat Olive Oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced Yellow Onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until deeply caramelized (about 20-25 minutes).
- Let the caramelized onions cool slightly.
- In a medium bowl, combine all Base ingredients and mix well until smooth.
- Add caramelized onions, Fresh Chives, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Black Pepper, and Salt to the bowl.
- Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled with your favorite dippers.
