Instructions
  1. Rinse the Raw, Green Virginia Peanuts thoroughly to remove any dirt or debris.
  2. In a large stockpot, combine all Brine ingredients, Aromatics, and 12 cups (2.8 L) of water. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add the Raw, Green Virginia Peanuts to the boiling brine.
  4. Reduce heat to very low, cover, and simmer for 6-8 hours, or until peanuts are incredibly tender and have absorbed the flavors. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more Kosher Salt, Smoked Paprika, or Maple Syrup to your preference.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving. Peanuts will continue to absorb flavor as they cool.
