Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 8x8 inch baking dish.
- First, make the brown butter: melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, swirling occasionally, until golden brown and fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine all Corn Mixture ingredients. Mix well and pour into the prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together all Spoonbread Topping ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Carefully spread the Spoonbread Topping evenly over the corn mixture.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until golden brown and set. Let cool slightly before serving.
