Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil or steam Sweet Potato Base sweet potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well.
  3. In a large bowl, mash the cooked sweet potatoes. Add Milk, melted Butter, Granulated Sugar, Vanilla Extract, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Salt. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the sweet potato mixture into a greased 8x8 inch baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine all Pecan Streusel Topping ingredients. Cut in the cold Butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
