1 tbsp Garlic powder
1 tbsp Onion powder
1 tsp Smoked paprika
3/4 tsp Salt

An enhanced version of the classic bake with a homemade cheese sauce and caramelized onions.
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook Beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Stir in Seasoning into the cooked Beef.
  4. Caramelize Onion in a separate skillet with a little oil over medium-low heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and softened.
  5. Make Cheese Sauce: Melt Butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in Flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in Milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in Mustard powder, Cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Cook Bacon until crispy. Crumble and set aside.
  7. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread half of the Tater Tots in an even layer.
  8. Top with the cooked Beef, caramelized Onion, then pour over the Cheese Sauce.
  9. Sprinkle with half of the Bacon.
  10. Add the remaining Tater Tots, then top with the remaining Bacon.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
