1.5 lbs Beef Chuck-cut into 1 inch pieces
1 tbsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper-freshly ground
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

A slightly refined version of the classic beef tips, incorporating better quality ingredients and a richer sauce.
Instructions
  1. Season the Beef with the Seasoning ingredients.
  2. In a large skillet or Dutch oven, brown the Beef in batches over medium-high heat. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the Butter. Whisk in the Flour and cook for 2-3 minutes to create a roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in the Beef Broth and Red Wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
  5. Add the Tomato Paste, Worcestershire Sauce, Soy Sauce, Garlic, and Pepper to the Sauce and stir.
  6. Return the Beef to the skillet. Add the Onion and Mushrooms.
  7. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 60-75 minutes, or until the Beef is very tender.
  8. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
