Texas Roadhouse Chili
A richer, more complex chili with a deeper flavor profile, using a blend of meats and a homemade spice blend.

A richer, more complex chili with a deeper flavor profile, using a blend of meats and a homemade spice blend.
Instructions
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the Ground beef and Hot Italian sausage over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Add the Yellow onion and Red bell pepper to the pot and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the Garlic and Jalapeño and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the Tomato paste and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Combine all Sauce ingredients in the pot. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the Kidney beans and Black beans, and all Seasoning ingredients. Stir well.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for at least 90 minutes, stirring occasionally. Longer simmering will enhance the flavor.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings (cheese, sour cream, onions).
