Instructions
  1. Combine all Seasoning ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Rub the Seasoning mixture generously over both sides of the New York Strip Steaks.
  3. Let the steaks sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a cast iron skillet or heavy-bottomed pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Add 2 tbsp of Butter to the hot skillet. Once melted, carefully place the steaks in the skillet.
  6. Cook for 3-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting cooking time to desired doneness.
  7. Add the remaining 2 tbsp of Butter to the skillet during the last minute of cooking, basting the steaks with the melted butter.
  8. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
