Texas Roadhouse New York Strip
A slightly refined version with an herb-infused butter and a simple pan sauce.

New York Strip Steaks - 8oz each
1 tbsp
Garlic Powder
1 tbsp
Onion Powder
1 tsp
Black Pepper - freshly ground
1 tsp

A slightly refined version with an herb-infused butter and a simple pan sauce.
Instructions
- Combine all Seasoning ingredients in a small bowl.
- Rub the Seasoning mixture generously over both sides of the New York Strip Steaks.
- Let the steaks sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Combine all Herb Butter ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.
- Heat a cast iron skillet or heavy-bottomed pan over medium-high heat.
- Add 2 tbsp of Butter to the hot skillet. Once melted, carefully place the steaks in the skillet.
- Cook for 3-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting cooking time to desired doneness.
- Add 2 tbsp of Herb Butter to the skillet during the last minute of cooking, basting the steaks with the melted butter.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let rest for 5-10 minutes.
- Deglaze the skillet with Beef Broth and Worcestershire Sauce, scraping up any browned bits. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Serve the steaks topped with the pan sauce and a dollop of the remaining Herb Butter.
