Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
Combine all Rub ingredients in a small bowl.
Rub the Rib Roast generously with the Rub mixture.
Place the Rib Roast in a roasting pan.
Spread softened Butter evenly over the roast.
Roast for approximately 3-3.5 hours for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached (use a meat thermometer).
Let the roast rest for 15-20 minutes before carving.
While the roast rests, prepare the Au Jus: In a saucepan, bring Beef Broth and Worcestershire Sauce to a simmer.
In a small bowl, whisk together Cornstarch and Cold Water to create a slurry.
Slowly whisk the slurry into the simmering broth. Cook until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
Carve the Rib Roast and serve with Au Jus.
