A gourmet take on the viral Italian sandwich, featuring artisanal ingredients and a balsamic glaze.
Instructions
- Prepare the Vinaigrette: In a small bowl, whisk together all Vinaigrette ingredients until emulsified.
- Slice the Artisan Italian bread horizontally, creating a top and bottom half.
- Drizzle the bottom half of the loaf generously with the prepared Vinaigrette.
- Layer the Meat evenly over the dressed bread.
- Top the Meat with the Cheese, Marinated sweet peppers, Roasted red peppers, and Pickled shallots.
- Add the Arugula and Heirloom tomato slices.
- Drizzle the top half of the loaf with the remaining Vinaigrette.
- Place the top half of the loaf onto the sandwich and press down firmly.
- Drizzle the top of the sandwich with Balsamic glaze.
- Slice the sandwich into desired portions and serve immediately.
