Place the Root Vegetables in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 20-25 minutes.
While the vegetables are cooking, melt the Butter in a light-colored saucepan over medium heat. Continue cooking, swirling occasionally, until the butter turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma, about 5-7 minutes. Be careful not to burn it. Remove from heat.
Drain the Root Vegetables thoroughly.
Return the Root Vegetables to the pot. Add the Heavy Cream, Brown Butter, Sea Salt, White Pepper, and Nutmeg. Pass through a food mill or ricer for an exceptionally smooth texture. Alternatively, mash thoroughly with a potato masher.
Stir in the Truffle Oil. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve immediately.
