Wassail
A more flavorful Wassail with fresh citrus and a touch of star anise. This version builds on the traditional recipe with a few key enhancements.

Apple Cider
1 cup
Orange Juice-freshly squeezed
1/2 cup
Cranberry Juice

A more flavorful Wassail with fresh citrus and a touch of star anise. This version builds on the traditional recipe with a few key enhancements.
Instructions
- Combine all Base ingredients, Spices, and Citrus in a large pot.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- If desired, stir in Optional Dark Rum during the last 5 minutes of simmering.
- Remove Cinnamon Sticks, Whole Cloves, and Star Anise before serving.
- Ladle into mugs and garnish with Orange Slices and Cinnamon Sticks.

Instructions
- Combine all Base ingredients, Spices, and Citrus in a large pot.
