Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and fragrant. Let cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, combine all Dry Ingredients.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the Buttermilk, browned butter, and Eggs.
  5. Add the Wet Ingredients to the Dry Ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped Wild Ramps and shredded Smoked Gouda.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
