Instructions
  1. Prepare the Wonton Filling: In a bowl, combine all Wonton Filling ingredients and mix well. Set aside.
  2. Assemble the Wontons: Place about 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold in half to form a triangle, and press to seal. Bring the two bottom corners together and overlap them, securing with a dab of water.
  3. Make the Broth: In a large pot, combine all Broth ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain the broth to remove solids.
  4. Make the Chili Oil: In a small saucepan, heat Vegetable Oil over medium heat. Add Chili Flakes and Sichuan Peppercorns and cook for 2-3 minutes, until fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool.
  5. Cook the Wontons: Gently add the wontons to the simmering broth. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface and are cooked through.
  6. Serve: Ladle the wontons and broth into bowls. Garnish with Green Onions and a drizzle of Chili Oil.
