2 Parsnips-peeled and grated
1 Apple-peeled, cored, and grated (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
1/2 cup All-purpose flour
1 Egg-large
1/4 cup Milk

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine all Fritter Base ingredients. Mix well until a batter forms.
  2. Heat about 1/2 inch of Vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the skillet.
  4. Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove fritters from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve warm.
