  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the Mincemeat Filling ingredients and set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Flour, Baking Powder, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg.
  4. In a separate large bowl, cream together the Butter and Sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the Eggs one at a time, then stir in the Milk.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the Mincemeat Filling and Candied Citrus Peel.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 60-75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
