Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
- In a small bowl, combine the Mincemeat Filling ingredients and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the Flour, Baking Powder, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg.
- In a separate large bowl, cream together the Butter and Sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the Eggs one at a time, then stir in the Milk.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the Mincemeat Filling and Candied Citrus Peel.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 60-75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
