1 cup Almond Flour
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt
2 Egg Whites
1 tbsp Elderflower Cordial

Classic Florentines with a delicate elderflower aroma and crunchy almond texture. A delightful treat for tea time or a special occasion.
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine all Dry Ingredients.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together all Wet Ingredients until frothy.
  4. Gently fold the Wet Ingredients into the Dry Ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in half of the Sliced Almonds.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining Sliced Almonds over the cookies.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Melt the Dark Chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled Florentines.
