A simplified take on the Applebee's favorite, featuring a juicy burger patty nestled inside a cheesy quesadilla. Perfect for a quick and satisfying weeknight meal.
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all Burger Patties ingredients and mix gently. Form into 4 patties.
- Cook the burger patties in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the Sauce by combining all Sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
- To assemble the quesadillas, sprinkle 1/2 cup of the Shredded cheddar cheese onto 4 tortillas. Place a cooked burger patty on top of the cheese.
- Top the burger with Tomato-sliced, Onion-sliced, and Lettuce leaves. Spread a generous amount of Sauce over the toppings.
- Cover with the remaining 4 tortillas. Cook in the same skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are golden brown.
- Cut each quesadilla into wedges and serve immediately.
