2 tbsp Armagnac
1 1/2 cups Whole Milk
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar

Instructions
  1. Soak the Prunes in the Armagnac for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter a 9-inch pie dish or baking dish with the Butter.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the Milk, Sugar, Eggs, Flour, Vanilla Extract, Nutmeg, and Salt until smooth. Ensure there are no lumps.
  4. Arrange the soaked Prunes evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Pour the Custard mixture over the Prunes.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the clafoutis is puffed and golden brown. A knife inserted near the center should come out mostly clean.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
