Apple-peeled, cored, and grated (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

A comforting and slightly sweet fritter, perfect as a side dish or light snack. This version uses readily available ingredients and a straightforward method.
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine all Fritter Base ingredients. Mix well until a batter forms.
- Heat about 1/2 inch of Vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the skillet.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove fritters from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm.
