A sophisticated melt featuring artisanal sourdough, creamy avocado, salty prosciutto, a blend of premium cheeses, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
Instructions
- In a small bowl, gently mash the Avocado Filling avocado with lime juice, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, flake salt, and freshly ground pepper until slightly chunky.
- Spread the European-style Butter on one side of each slice of Artisanal sourdough bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread the mashed avocado mixture evenly over the bread.
- Layer the Prosciutto over the avocado.
- Sprinkle the Gruyere and Fontina cheese over the prosciutto.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook for 4-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from skillet, drizzle with Balsamic glaze, and serve immediately.
