
Cheesecake Factory Chicken Lettuce Wraps
An improved version of the classic, featuring a more complex sauce, a wider variety of vegetables, and a touch of heat. Still accessible for home cooks, but with a noticeable step up in flavor.

Ground Chicken
1 tbsp
Soy Sauce (low sodium)
1 tbsp
Shaoxing Wine (or dry sherry)
1 tsp
Ginger-grated
2 tsp
Garlic-minced

An improved version of the classic, featuring a more complex sauce, a wider variety of vegetables, and a touch of heat. Still accessible for home cooks, but with a noticeable step up in flavor.
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all Chicken ingredients and mix well. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together all Sauce ingredients until smooth.
- Heat a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken mixture and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through (about 8-10 minutes).
- Stir in the Sauce and cook for another 3-5 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly and coats the chicken.
- Remove from heat and stir in the Water Chestnuts, Green Onions, Carrots, Bamboo Shoots, and Shiitake Mushrooms.
- Carefully separate the lettuce leaves and wash/dry them.
- Spoon the chicken mixture into the lettuce cups. Garnish with Toasted Sesame Seeds and Chopped Peanuts and serve immediately.

- 1/2 cup Water Chestnuts-diced
- 1/4 cup Green Onions-sliced
- 1/4 cup Carrots-shredded
- 1/4 cup Bamboo Shoots-diced
