
Cold Ham And Pineapple Aspic

Unflavored Gelatin
1 cup
Cold Water
1 cup
Chicken Broth
1/4 cup
Dry White Wine
1 tbsp
White Wine Vinegar

A refined take on the classic aspic, featuring a subtle herb infusion and higher-quality ham. Still a delightful retro treat, but with a touch more sophistication.
Instructions
- Sprinkle Gelatin over Cold Water in a bowl and let stand for 5 minutes to soften.
- In a saucepan, heat Chicken Broth, White Wine, White Wine Vinegar, Sugar, Salt, Thyme, and Parsley until simmering. Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes.
- Strain the broth mixture to remove herbs and add to the softened gelatin. Stir until completely dissolved.
- Gently fold in the diced Black Forest Ham, Pineapple Tidbits, and Pearl Onions.
- Pour the mixture into a mold or individual serving dishes.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
