
Copycat Applebee's Quesadilla Burger
A premium version featuring Wagyu beef, a house-made chipotle aioli, and artisanal cheese, finished with a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

Wagyu ground beef
1 tsp
Fleur de sel
1/2 tsp
Freshly ground black pepper
1 cup
Homemade mayonnaise

A premium version featuring Wagyu beef, a house-made chipotle aioli, and artisanal cheese, finished with a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
Instructions
- Gently form the Wagyu ground beef into 4 patties, seasoning with Fleur de sel and freshly ground black pepper. Avoid overworking the meat.
- Prepare the Aioli by combining all Aioli ingredients in a small bowl and blending until smooth and creamy.
- Heat a cast iron skillet or grill pan over high heat.
- Sear the burger patties for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Let rest for 5 minutes.
- During the last minute of cooking, place 2 slices of Smoked Gouda cheese on each patty to melt.
- Spread a generous amount of Aioli on one side of each tortilla.
- Place a cheeseburger patty on one tortilla. Top with Heirloom tomatoes, Pickled red onions, and Arugula.
- Fold the tortilla over the filling to create a quesadilla.
- Brush the outside of the quesadilla with Clarified butter. Grill for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Drizzle with Balsamic glaze and serve immediately.

- 1/4 cup Pickled red onions

- 8 Handmade flour tortillas-12 inch
- 4 tbsp Clarified butter
- 1 tbsp Balsamic glaze
