1 lb Flank Steak-thinly sliced against the grain
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Cornstarch
1 tbsp Shaoxing Wine-or dry sherry
1 tsp Ginger-grated

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine all Marinade ingredients. Add the sliced Beef and marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together all Sauce ingredients and set aside.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of Vegetable Oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated Beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of Vegetable Oil to the skillet. Add the Onion and white parts of the Green Onions and stir-fry until softened, about 2 minutes.
  5. Pour the Sauce into the skillet and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly until slightly thickened, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Return the Beef to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook for another minute until heated through.
  7. Garnish with the green parts of the Green Onions and Sesame Seeds. Serve immediately with rice.
