  1. Prepare the Marinade: Combine all Marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add Cod fillets and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Tartar Sauce: Combine all Tartar Sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  3. Combine all Breading ingredients in a shallow dish.
  4. In a separate shallow dish, whisk together all Batter ingredients.
  5. Remove Cod fillets from the marinade and dredge in the Breading, then dip into the Batter, ensuring it's fully coated.
  6. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Carefully fry the coated Cod fillets in batches for 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove the fish and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
