Instructions
- Prepare the Breading - Dry: In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Prepare the Breading - Wet: In another shallow dish, whisk together eggs and milk.
- Prepare the Breading - Coating: Place panko bread crumbs in a third shallow dish.
- Coat the Cheese: Dredge each mozzarella stick in the Breading - Dry, then dip in the Breading - Wet, and finally coat thoroughly with the Breading - Coating.
- Fry the Sticks: Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully add the coated mozzarella sticks to the hot oil, working in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for 30-60 seconds per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain and Serve: Remove the mozzarella sticks from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve immediately with warm Sauce.
